Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Quill Hound company website at quillhound.com and www.quillhound.com (the “site”), operated by Quill Hound (“we”, “us”). The site is a directory: it describes our products and links to them. It has no accounts, no forms, no checkout and no analytics.

What we collect on this site

1. Standard web request data

When your browser loads a page, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes the request: your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, the referring page and the time. We use this only to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose errors. Our Cloudflare Workers logs keep this request data for a short period (up to 7 days) before it is deleted automatically. We do not combine it with other data or use it to profile you.

2. Web font requests

The site uses the Inter typeface served by Google Fonts. To show it, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address and user agent. Google describes its use of that data in the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

3. Email you send us

If you email us (for example at jglass@quillhound.com), we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply, and keep it as long as needed for the conversation and our ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete it.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser’s local storage. It loads no analytics, advertising pixels, session recorders or other trackers, so there is no cookie banner: there is nothing non-essential to consent to. Our product sites have their own cookie practices, described in their own policies.

How we share data

We share the data above only with the service providers that run the site and our email, listed on our subprocessors page, and only so they can provide that service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

We do not sell or share your personal information, as “sell” and “share” are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and similar state laws, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

AI and model training

The site does not send any of your data to AI services, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, and the EU and UK), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising (we do none of those). We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

Because the site has no accounts, there is nothing to download or delete in-app. To make a request, email jglass@quillhound.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will confirm we received it and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. For data a product holds, use that product’s own privacy policy and in-app controls.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. We limit access to logs and email to the people who need it.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International visitors

We are based in the United States. Our providers may process request data in the U.S. and in other countries where they operate.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above and describe material changes on this page.
